Most business owners preparing for growth or a sale end up assembling their own team — an operations consultant here, a broker there, a technical expert somewhere else. Merquity Partners exists because that shouldn't be necessary.
Merquity Partners was founded by a practicing surgeon and a finance & strategy professional who kept encountering the same gap: business owners — particularly in healthcare, but far from only there — were making decisions about growth, operations, and eventual sale without anyone in the room who genuinely understood both the clinical and financial sides of the business.
We built Merquity to close that gap. Every engagement draws on direct operating and clinical experience alongside institutional-grade financial analysis, so recommendations are grounded in how a business actually runs, not just how its numbers look on paper.
We work with owners who have built something real and want an honest, technically grounded view of where the business stands — operationally and financially — and a clear plan to improve it, whether the goal is growth, stability, or a future transaction.
We say plainly what we see. Where a business is exit-ready, we say so. Where it isn't yet, we say what needs to change first, and we help make that change happen.
A structured conversation to understand your business, your goals, and where the pressure points actually are.
Combined operational and financial review — clinical workflow, margin structure, and valuation drivers, examined together.
A clear, prioritized plan — what to fix first, what it's worth doing, and what it should mean for value.
Hands-on support implementing the plan — through to a transaction, if that's the goal.
When it's time to sell, buy, or bring on capital, we represent your interests through close.
We stay available after the engagement ends — most of our relationships outlast the first project.
Direct, evidence-based assessments — not what's easiest to hear, but what's true and useful.
Clinical accuracy and financial rigor both matter. We don't approximate either one.
We measure our success by the outcomes our clients achieve, not by billable hours.
